Lagom Felt Studio is delighted to welcome Eva Christie as our new featured artist.
Eva specialises in contemporary hand knitted accessories using traditional stitches, drawing inspiration from her childhood among the glens and sea lochs of the West Coast of Scotland.
The majority of Eva’s work is created in luxurious natural, limited edition or vintage yarns; which supports her environmental values and commitment to the Slow Fashion
movement. She also works with local farmers and independent dyers and is the founder member of the Perthshire Artisan Collective.
We met Eva as the organiser of the inaugural Perth Festival of Yarn earlier this year and as well as falling in love with her work and her ethos, we were in awe of the energy and passion that is the driving force behind everything that Eva achieves.
Eva also offers tuition in therapeutic knitting, yarn parties, knitting kits, workshops and consultation on community art projects.
If you haven’t already discovered them, you can catch up with Eva’s podcasts on YouTube Eva Christie Hand Knitting Podcasts
